Day 3 Cairo (B)
Today's full day tour starts with a visit to Cheop's Pyramids - one of the seven wonders of the world. Then continue on to Memphis, first capital of ancient Egypt. Your journey takes you to Sakkar to visit the Pyramid of Unas - the only one with inscribed texts - and the Step Pyramid of King Djoser.

Day 4 Cairo-Abu Simbel-Luxor (BL)
Fly to Abu Simbel early this morning to visit the magnificent rock-cut temples of Ramses II and his queen, Nefertari. A short flight takes you on to Luxor. This afternoon, cross the Nile to Luxor's West Bank, where you'll explore the astonishing New Kingdom city of "Thebes". Visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens where some 64 of Egypt's Pharaohs have their palatial resting places hewn into the sheer rock and the Colossi of Memnon, two huge seated statues of Amenhotep III.

Day 5 Luxor-Cairo (BL)
This morning we visit Luxor and Karnak Temples, a holy city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues and obelisks built over many centuries and dedicated to the God Amon-Ra, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu. Fly back to Cairo in the afternoon.

Day 6 Cairo-Dubai (B)
Fly to Dubai where you will be met and transferred to your choice of beach hotel.

Day 7 Dubai (B)
Welcome to exciting Dubai! After a leisurely morning, enjoy a tour of this "City of Merchants." You'll begin at the Jumeirah mosque and then continue to the 150-year old Al Fahidi Fort, where the Dubai Museum records the city's history. Continue across the creek by abra - the traditional water taxi, where the adventure awaits as you walk through the spice and gold souks.

Day 8 Dubai (B)
After breakfast, drive to Sharjah, the third largest of the 7 states that comprise the United Arab Emirates. Stop at Ajman's enchanting museum where you'll get a glimpse of lifestyles before the changes brought by the discovery of oil. You'll have time to photograph the dhows along the Creek and the Al Majarrah Souk. There is time to walk the the Blue Souq before returning to your hotel in Dubai for a leisurely afternoon.

Day 9 Dubai (BD)
Enjoy a day at leisure. You might want to relax on the beach or perhaps take an optional full day tour to nearby Sharjah. Later this evening, the mysterious desert beckons as your 4WD vehicle takes you through the desert to a tradtional Bedu tent where a feast of grilled meats, fresh salads and Arabic sweets is served. Day 10 Dubai-Cairo (B)
After a leisurely morning, transfer to the airport for the flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 11 Cairo (BL)
Leaving early this morning, we drive north to Alexandria to visit the Graeco-Roman Museum; the Roman Amphitheater; Pompey’s Pillar and the Catacombs. After lunch visit Alexandria Library before heading back to Cairo.

Day 12 Cairo-New York (B)
An early departure from Cairo has you back in New York by mid-afternoon today.
