Spirit of the Namib
From its rugged mountains, dense woodlands and the world's oldest desert, Namibia is a land of contrasts and diversity. Swakopmund, the country's favorite resort area, is complete with a full entertainment complex. The impressive sand dunes of Sossusvlei are a must for any visitor.

But it may be Etosha National Park for which Namibia is most famous. The diversity of wildlife and the ease with which game is found in the park draws wildlife enthusiasts year after year. And, with 392 species of birds identified to date, Etosha is a birdwatcher's paradise.
Ultimate Southern Africa
South Africa, known as the "Rainbow Nation" has 9 defined cultural groups including The Nguni People (which is comprised of the Zulu, Xhosa and Swazi). This group alone accounts for two thirds of the country's more than 44 million people. There are 11 official languages in South Africa - among them Afrikaans, English, isiNdebele, isiXhosa, and isiZulu. With this rich group of culture found in one nation, along with its scenic beauty and cosmopolitan cities, it is no wonder that South Africa is also called "a world in one country".
Jewels of Egypt
When you think of Egypt, you may only think of the country as the home of some of the world's greatest treasures of the ancient world. But today, you must also view Egypt as a modern country, with tremendous influence in the political world.

Most of Egypt is desert. The small part that isn't is the Nile Valley, and it is here that 95% of the population lives. Egypt is the second largest country in the Arab world, and second only to Nigeria in population on the African continent.
Malawi Bush and Beach Safari
With a population of approximately 12 million, Malawi is one of the more densely peopled countries of this part of Africa. Most of the population is rural (85 per cent), living largely in fascinating traditional villages. The largest town is the conurbation Blantyre-Limbe (the commercial "capital") in the south followed by the capital city of Lilongwe in the central region. Mzuzu is the only large town in the north. The people of Malawi are accurately described as the friendliest on the continent. It is they who make this country the Warm Heart of Africa.
Australian Escapade
Some 65 million years ago, a piece of land broke away from Antarctica and drifted north. And so, the smallest and flattest of the continents was born. We know it as Australia, home of some of nature's most amazing sites and creatures!
Australian Interlude Downunder
Australia's remoteness from the rest of the world contributed to the evolution of some of it's most interesting natives - which are found nowhere else in the world. Funny looking creatures like the platypus, which seems to take at least some of its attributes from a duck and a beaver. And the koala which spends more than 80% of it's day sleeping!
Costa Rica - Tropical Adventure
Escape from the maddening crowds to a land of natural beauty. Costa Rica. Within the borders of this small country (it is just about the same size as West Virginia), you can find an Alpine-cool forest and a steamy Amazon-like jungle.

Costa Rica's 12 distinct ecological "life zones" make this a nature-lover's paradise. Almost one tenth of all the known bird species are found in Costa Rica! At least 630 species of birds are permanent residents including 51 species of hummingbirds and 16 species of parrots. Its most famous resident may well be the pigeon-sized quetzal, known as the crown jewel of the jungle.
Dubai and Egypt
Archaeological digs suggest evidence that the area now known as Dubai was originally settled by fisherman some 4,000 years ago, but it was not until the 1830's that a major settlement was established in Dubai.

Today, Dubai is a fascinating city where glistening modern high-rise buildings contrast with traditional dhows plying the important Creek which is the historical focal point of the city. In just one day, you can experience the vast expanse of the desert lying just outside of the city along with the hustle and bustle of the spice and gold souks. An abra (water taxi) ride along the creek provides a spectacular panorama of this city of merchants.
Classic India
The world's 7th largest country, India has a total land area of more than 1 million square miles and a coastline over 3,500 miles long. It may be most well known for the stunning Taj Mahal, but it is also home to the majestic Himalayan mountain range, which cuts a border between India, Nepal and China.

The country's rich history is still evident in the palaces and temples through Rajasthan, famous for the Rajput warriors who defended the territory and carved the territory into princely states. India is also home to 59 national parks and more than 250 sanctuaries where you may find more than 250 mammal species and 1200 recorded bird species.
